Architect/Consulting Engineer Coordination: Closing the Gap
Having experience on both sides of the fence, this course addresses the issue of conflicts between the consulting engineer’s specifications and the Architects Contract, Division 01 and Drawings. Offering collaboration and coordination tools that can be used by the Architect or the Engineers to eliminate these conflicts and improve collaboration, there has been an overwhelming positive response to the need for improvement in these areas.

- Identify the areas in their specs that have a potential for conflict between the Architect and consulting engineers.
- View real life examples of conflicts and discuss the ramifications and lessons learned.
- See and discuss different methods to coordinate this information.
- Establish and customize procedures to use in their own Firm's to eliminate these conflicts.
